Where can I change the colors of my guestbook?
You can modify the entire layout and appearance of your guestbook in the control panel. Go to the control panel and log in with the username and password of your guestbook. After logging in, click on Change layout in the left menu. On the next page, you can the different font and background colors and add a background image or logo if you'd like to.
How can I add a background picture to my guestbook?
Go to http://cp.123guestbook.com/ and log in with the username and password of your guestbook. After logging in, click on 'Change layout' in the left menu. On the next page, fill in a url (e.g. http://www.example.org/picture.jpg) in the textfield behind 'Background picture (URL):'. Before you are able to use a picture for the background of your guestbook, make sure it is placed on the internet. To put it on the internet you can use the webspace of your website.
How can I add a logo to my guestbook?
It is possible to add an image at the top of your guestbook, which can function as a logo. To add a logo, go to the control panel and log in with the username and password of your guestbook. After logging in, click on Change layout in the left menu. On the next page, go to the textfield after Logo (URL): and fill out a URL which leads to an image. Afterwards click on Save changes
Is it possible to turn off the smilies and formatting of the messages?
Yes, it is possible to turn off smileys and formatting (ubb codes). Go to the control panel of your guestbook and log in with the username and password of your guestbook. After logging in, click on Guestbook options in the left menu. On the next page, click on No,... at the question Use UBB codes. Afterwards click on Save changes.
How do I add a welcome or introduction text at the top of the guestbook?
To add a text at the top of the guestbook, go to the control panel of your guestbook and log in with the username and password of your guestbook. After logging in, click on Change layout in the left menu. On the next page, click on Yes at the right of Text at top of guestbook. A textfield will appear. Now, click on the textfield and type the text you would like to have at the top your guestbook. Afterwards click on Save changes.
The smileys on the guestbooks of 123Guestbook.com won't display
You are probably using an older version of Norton antivirus software. If you update this program you'll be able to view smileys again. Click here for more information on how to update the Norton anti-virus program. If the smileys still won't display after you tried this, please contact us.
How can I select a different guestbook theme / template for my guestbook?
With our guestbooks, you can select out of 5 different guestbook templates / guestbook themes. Each theme has its own structure and appearance. After selecting the template, you can change the layout completely by changing colours, fonts, etc. You can find some theme examples on our demo page. To select a theme, go to the control panel of your guestbook and log in using the username and password of your guestbook. After loggin in, click on change theme in the left menu. On the next page you will find an overview of all the themes we have to offer. Click on example to view a bigger example of the theme. After selecting the theme you would like to use for your guestbook, click on Save changes. You will then be forwarded to the change layout page where you can further modify the layout of your guestbook.
